Man wins second biggest jackpot ever

While he may not have broken the world record, a Finnish man from Helsink has something to cheer about following his huge jackpot win.

Online Poker reports that the man won the second highest online slots jackpot in history, worth $8,780,151, from the Mega Fortune jackpot, which launched in 2008. The record for the highest jackpot is $15,844,900. The unnamed man had been playing on Paf.com before he hit the big jackpot, which happened after a four-month buildup.

Paf.com, a nonprofit organization that focuses on putting money to good causes, began its online casino in 1999.

"We are a gaming company that was established with the sole purpose of generating money for good causes and we have already donated €160 million over the years," Anders Sims, the website's PR manager, told the news provider. "It's a real honor for us that such a huge jackpot has been won on Paf.com."

According to InterGame Online, this is not the first time someone has won off of Paf. Last year, a man from Sweden won $6,961,550 off of the site, making it the biggest jackpot ever won in Sweden.
